Sally Benton is a globally recognized thought leader in colorectal cancer (CRC) with years of expertise in fecal testing, early diagnosis, research, and future development. As clinical lead and consultant clinical scientist at Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services, Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford, England, she leads both clinical biochemistry services and innovative research in fecal testing and early diagnosis of CRC. She serves as director of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Hub for the South of England, where she oversees the CRC screening laboratory and works with NHS England screening centres to ensure a safe and high-quality FIT screening program across the southern region. She is the chair of the IFCC Working Group for FIT and co-chairs the World Endoscopy Organization FIT for Screening Committee.
