David McClintock, MD, is a physician-scientist and pathologist at the Mayo Clinic specializing in computational pathology, clinical informatics, and artificial intelligence. He serves as Chair of the Division of Computational Pathology and Informatics within the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. His work focuses on applying AI and machine learning to improve diagnostic accuracy, laboratory workflows, and patient outcomes. Prior to joining the Mayo Clinic, he held leadership roles in pathology informatics at the University of Michigan and the University of Chicago, and he is a past president of the Association for Pathology Informatics.
