In this SelectScience® webinar, biosafety experts Dr. Julianne Baron and Dr. Lora Grainger explain the importance of biosafety cabinet (BSC) training, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best methods for working in a BSC, surface decontamination and spill remediation, and how to address waste from a BSC.
Wednesday, December 9 at 16:00 GMT | 17:00 CET | 11:00 EST | 08:00 PST
Working safely in a biosafety cabinet (BSC) requires more than the right equipment. Effective training and clear procedures are key to protecting personnel, samples, and the laboratory environment.
In this free SelectScience® webinar, biosafety experts Dr. Julianne Baron and Dr. Lora Grainger will share practical guidance for safe and effective BSC use. Discover how to develop clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), follow best practices during routine work, approach surface decontamination and spill remediation, and safely contain and dispose of waste generated within a BSC.
Through practical recommendations that can be applied in the lab, the speakers will help you strengthen BSC training and support safer, more consistent working practices.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to develop effective SOPs and apply best practices for safer, more consistent work in a biosafety cabinet.
