Dr. Jakob Zierk is a pediatric hemato-oncologist with a research interest in pediatric reference intervals. His focus is on indirect methods for reference intervals (e.g. refineR) and their application to large pediatric datasets. He serves as the principal investigator of the PEDREF study, in which laboratory data from more than 20 German centers are analyzed to establish next-generation pediatric reference intervals.
